8th Grade Graduation Itinerary: A drive through graduation moment will take place on Friday, June 12th, from 4:00-6:30PM at Sunny Brae Middle School. Eighth grade graduates will receive their certificate and have a photo taken. We encourage graduates to dress up for the event as the 8th grade parent committee is providing a backdrop and decorations, a professional photo opportunity for students, a memento, and a graduation video.
- Last names A-F will drive through from 4-4:45, G-P from 4:45-5:30, and Q-Z from 5:30-6:15.
- One car per graduate. Parents please drive into the SBMS parking lot; SBMS staff will direct you. When it is your graduates turn, they alone will exit the car, pick up their certificate, and pose for their graduation picture displaying their graduation certificate.
- Our first priority is safety, so we will be following the Humboldt County Health guidelines (see attached). Rules for social distancing will be in effect. No one is allowed to exit the cars except for the graduate during the ceremony.
